Why must be the world be so vast yet the minds of the millions be so narrow? How have we come to this point where demeaning someone lets us go on with our days as if we’re free of sin and judgement? Life trajectories of wealth, health and well-being diverge and expand on the more toxic outskirts where even multiculturalism is kept on the spotlights as something atrocious thus complicating civic life and solidarity. Neighborhoods become segregated due to the social status, social class and stereotypical phenomenon. Which is highly absurd and arbitrary. We are humans. Formed to make mistakes but repent and matriculate the basic etiquette of a human being. We are not bred or chosen to be a certain way. We have not picked the color of our delicate skin, or the choice of following which God blindly, or even determine under which cultural background to be known for. No one should be able to feel fallacious just for the inevitable, the choices brought upon us.

From the school to the workplace to community, there’s no statement more damning than “You’re being unfair!” Born out of democracy and raised in open markets, fairness has become our de facto modern creed in this modern life. — Stephen T. Asma

The world can be so corrupt with having our lives so wretched that we take it upon ourselves to make others feel worse. To have an “equilibrium” they say. We are tarnished everyday not for the fact that rape, murder or pedophilia takes place, no. we are tarnished for simply being ourselves. Life hasn’t ever been easy but we have taken advantage of using the power of words wrongly. If we aren’t actively trying to change then we just become one of them. So maybe start now. It’s never too late.
